Movement is my Passion

Creativity is my Core

I am a movement artist, a passionate storyteller, a public speaker, a poet, and an arts education enthusiast. I became smitten with radio documentaries during my teens, which prompted me to pursue a career in the media industry. At a young age, I realized the power of my voice, figuratively, and as my inherent physical instrument. As a producer and narrator, my audio pieces have been featured on Chicago’s Vocalo Radio (Daran Music) and in the online publication Sixty Inches From Center (Words From the Soul: An In-Depth Interview with Chai Tulani). I have hosted several art events throughout the city and have graced stages as a spoken-word poet. I am the co-host of Transistor Radio’s Depth of Field, where I have regularly interviewed Chicago-based artists, musicians, filmmakers, authors, and crafters.

I hold a Bachelor of Communication Science in Media Studies, a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, and a Master of Arts in Public Media, all from Ohio University. In my spare time, I pursue dancing both as a student and as an instructor. I enjoy reading biographies and traveling. My goal is to create a career that amplifies and celebrates diverse voices in media and art.
