Soul Work
Higher Self- The higher Self is the Soul, your essential being, which is connected to the Ultimate Soul (or Spirit), the Divine Providence (or Godhead). Remember: you do not have a Soul; you are a Soul that has a body, a mind, and emotions.
― Max Storm, A Life Worth Breathing
To be good to the body, we have to be good to the soul. Use the materials below to start your journey.

Principles of Mindfulness
-John Kabat Zinn
Nonjudging: The attitude of cultivating the ability to understand things around us without automatically assigning them labels of good or bad, so that we can experience them as they truly are.
Gratitude: The attitude of appreciating even the simplest things in the present moment.
Patience: The attitude of understanding that things happen in their own time, including our own experiences. Patience with oneself is an act of acceptance and wisdom.
Beginner’s Mind: The attitude of intentionally seeing things around you as if for the first time, by shedding our expectations and preconceptions and welcoming the possibility of a new moment, one that has never been seen before.
Trust: The attitude of “Trust” involves developing a basic trust in yourself and your feelings. It means trusting in your own authority and intuition, even if you make some ‘mistakes’ along the way. Practice honoring your feelings. Take responsibility for yourself and your own well-being.
Non-Striving: The goal is to be with yourself right here, right now. Pay attention to what is unfolding without trying to change anything.
Acceptance: The attitude of actively recognizing that things are the way they are, even if they aren’t the way we want them to be.
Letting Go: The attitude that is the opposite of clinging or grasping
Generosity: The attitude of giving oneself over to life, and giving to other people what would make them happy, for the sake of the joy it brings them.
